descriptive of those people who oppose the true God.
"Children, it is the last hour; and
just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen;
from this we know that it is the last hour... Who is the liar but the one who denies
that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the
Son."-
1 John 2:18,22. In 1 John 4:3, John says that all who do not confess Jesus are of
the spirit of the antichrist, "…and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from
God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is
coming, and now it is already in the world."
During this last 3-1/2 year period is when
there will be the largest battle the world has ever known: The Battle of Armageddon. The
armies will number about 220,000,000 and will all be coming against Israel, led by the
Antichrist.
The Antichrist could already be alive but, he will not be revealed until the rapture of the Church.
So, those who really know the Lord will not have to worry.
The Second Coming of Christ will not be like the sweet infant/baby Jesus that we remember at
Christmas time. He will come back on His white horse, with the saints from where He has
emptied out Heaven. He will utterly defeat His enemies. Then, there will be 1,000 years of
peaceful rule on earth by Jesus. The saints (those who know the Lord) will be there helping
with the administration.
So, now the question is, “Where will you place yourself in all of this?” If the Lord was to come
back for the rapture of the Church in the next few minutes, will you be part of those who will be
left behind, to face the Tribulation?
If you are unsure of your future, please pray the following:
"Dear God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, my heavenly Father, I ask
forgiveness of my sins. I confess with my mouth that your son Jesus is my savior
and died for me. I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. I receive
Jesus into my heart and ask Him to become the center of my life. I want to now
press on toward the goal, to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward
in Christ Jesus. When this game of life is over, I want to say that "I have fought the
good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith.” I ask all this, in the
Name of Jesus. Amen."
