From The Chief
Halloween, as always I hope this newsletter finds all in
good health and spirits.
Our thoughts and well wishes go out to Rob’s mom for a speedy recovery from
her recent illness.
This month was Spooks up in Brooksville; we had a great time and brought back
the info from the state meeting. We were happy to present Rob Rabell with his
MSAP patch as the chapter’s newest instructor, thanks Rob for your dedication
and to all of the Southwest chapter’s safety team, you guys are doing a great job.
Ron Berg deserves the credit for our success as he is the guy that keeps us in
demand at the counties high schools. The program is available to anyone that
can put together a small crowd of people that would like to see what its about,
anyone with ideas for presentations please get with me or Ron and we can make
it happen.
Plans are in full swing for our upcoming events, if you are not yet involved do not
be shy let someone know and we will find something for you to do.
I would like to see some new faces coming out and helping as next year is
scheduled to be our last year for this run. We are currently looking for a worthy
replacement and I would like it to possibly be a veteran’s center or something
along those lines. So if you have any input let us know.
This is a Presidential election year, and I hope that everyone is ready to go and
vote. Do not let us down we need for you to get involved in the process.
