ABATE of Florida Inc SOUTHWEST CHAPTER
4
From The Chief
everyone, as always I hope this newsletter finds you
all well and in good health and spirits.
December is a few days away, which means we are coming up fast on Thanksgiving.
Right after that will be my birthday; I will be 29 this year, boy how the time flies when
you’re having fun.
We are planning to go camping the weekend after Thanksgiving, yes I did say camping
…… anyone that knows me knows I camp at the Holiday Inn, but I figure I am not getting
any younger so why not try out this camping thing. I think I can survive, I will let you all
know how it turns out. Beyond that Christmas and New Year are just around the corner
and I hope everyone has a safe and happy Holiday Season and a very prosperous New
Year.
We are only a couple weeks away from hosting the state meeting on December 13th
followed by the downtown Cape Coral Bike Night. The following day December 14th will
be our 28th Annual “Christmas Run” to the Gulf Coast Center. Please come out and join
us as this will be one of the last years we will be doing this run, the state is closing down
the facility and we are currently looking for a replacement recipient for our Christmas
cheer.
Coming on the third Wednesday of January, that’s the 21st, we will be having the
“January Jam” at Victory Lane Café, our big bike show we will have Trick Rick bringing
us one of his world famous off the hook bike shows.  Do not miss this one, everybody is
going to be there so come on out and have a great time with the Southwest Chapter at
one of the longest running bike nights in the county.
Everyone who is planning on joining us in Tally this year; we are starting to put a list
together, so if you are interested in going let me or someone on the board know, and we
will be sure to add your name to our list.
