ABATE of Florida Inc SOUTHWEST CHAPTER
4
everyone, as always I hope this newsletter finds all in good
health and spirits.
Another month has passed us by and what do we have to show for all of our
efforts.
Well Downtown bike night was pretty productive as we signed up a few new
members we also made some headway on selling bike tickets thanks to the
handful of folks that took tickets to sell thanks to Cruz and Ernie, Diamond Jim,
Rob and Audrey Cran.
We kicked off the MSAP classes this week and thanks goes out to Ron Berg, our
safety director, for all the scheduling and coordination that it takes to make this
happen. I for one really feel as though we are making a difference bringing our
case to the youngest drivers, they absorb the information as only young people
can and our presentation certainly keeps them on the edge of their seat. I hope
to get a few more members qualified to do the MSAP through this current
session this is very important and I feel as though it is very helpful to our young
new drivers.
As of the writing of this report we are only days away from our annual Chili Cook
Off, hopefully that will all go well. We are trying to obtain a dunk tank as
requested by popular demand at the last chapter meeting, it seems there are a
lot of members that are willing to spend money to see me get dunked so
hopefully we can get the tank and all you guys can have the time of your life
