trying to drown the president. Just know that I swim like a rock so the most
excitement for the day will be when you will have to save me from drowning
myself.
For those that did not know our very own newsletter editor Rob Assenzio was ill
for a while he has started his treatment and is doing much better. Please place
him in your prayers as he is not only a member he is also our friend, he and his
bride Lyn do an awful lot for our chapter, and to be honest we could not do it
without them.
We have a state meeting coming up the second week in February, Victor
Piorkowski who is our Sergeant at Arms has stepped up to delegate the meeting
for us along with Pat Jablonski, a couple of good Irish guys, thanks for all you
help gentlemen. For those that did not know the February state meeting will be
held up in Pensacola, that is one hell of a ride from here. I will be joining the guys
on the ride, it promises to be an exciting trip as they all always are.
Our bike show in January was called due to cold weather. We rescheduled it for
the third Wednesday in March so tell all your friends and come on out and join
us.
Also watch for bike games coming to Victory Lane Bike Night we have put
together a program and hopefully after a few months will start to catch on. We
will be doing a balloon toss, weenie bite, and a few other games, so again please
tell your friends to come out and join us for a great time. We will start to give
trophies for winners after we get it off the ground and work all the bugs out.
In closing I just want to say we have a great group of folks on board with the
Southwest Chapter, we get things done and have a lot of fun doing it. All of those
that are at all the events and pitch in wherever you can I thank you all from the
bottom of my heart, you all know who you are, and I just want you to know I could
not do this without you
You guys continually make me look good it is great working with you.
